Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime announced today in New York that the Wii U will hit U.S stores November 18, 2012. The Wii U will be offered in a Basic and Deluxe Bundle. The Basic Wii U, which will cost $299.99, comes with the Wii U console, 8 GB of storage, Wii U GamePad controller, AC adapters, an HDMI cable and a sensor bar. The Deluxe Wii U will come packaged with everything included with the Basic Wii U as well as a GamePad charging cradle, console stand, NintendoLand game, and 32 GB of storage for $349.99.
Owners of a Wii will also be able to use their Wii motion controllers with the Wii U. Those who don’t own a Wii will be able to purchase Wii U-branded remotes, nunchucks and accessories which will do the same thing.
