Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance for me. It was the first H&S I ever played. I remember playing that game all summer.

Dante’s Inferno by far. I loved the various cultural references on top of the amazing style and tone of the game.
Torchlight was really fun. I liked the loot.

God of War. Not a particular one, the entire series.

Zelda: Link To The Past. Granted it’s known at an Action-RPG. I still think it’s a hack n’ slash. also a wonderful game.
Too Human. It’s broken and flawed in multiple ways but there is something so satisfying to slaughtering robo-goblins (once you figure out and accept the controls).
That’s really hard to pick, the original “Gauntlet” ate a lot of my quarters. Yes, I’ve been gaming for a really long time!!!
